Itineraries
GREECE - Cyclades/Aegean Islands
A ten day charter that works its way though the beautiful scenery of the volcanic Cyclades Islands.
On day one your charter begins in Athens, before you sail to the island of Hydra with its graceful tiered port of eighteenth-century houses.
On day two in the morning you sail to the lush island of Spetses with its lively harbour.
On day three heads east, sailing from Spetses to Serifos, renowned for its magnificent beaches.
On day four you island hop, first south to Sifnos where Vathi, on the south west coast with its natural horseshoe bay, is a great place for watersports, then you move further south to Milos. Here, in the 1860s, the famous Venus de Milo statue was discovered, and the island has many small sandy beaches and underwater caves along its fjord-like coastline.
On day five you sail southeast to Santorini with the exceptional old world village of Ia.
Take in the little island of Ios with its untouched coves and quiet beaches on day six, and elegant Paros with a lively waterfront, superb Naoussa Bay for watersports and nearby Kolimbithres beach with its unusual rock formations.
On day seven you reach one of the most naturally beautiful Cyclades Islands, and definitely the busiest, Mykonos. You spend the night here before departing on day eight for the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of the mythical Apollo and Artemis. Delos is now uninhabited with a vast archaeological site dedicated to its past as the political and religious center of the Aegean. Syros, with its numerous examples of classical architecture and antiquities, is your destination for day nine before you sail to the quiet island of Kea for day ten and then 40 nautical miles back to Athens on your final day
