Arrival at the Greek island of Kos around noon. This city was founded in
336 B.C. on the present site of the modern capital. Ancient Kos had many
famous citizens but above them all stands Hippocrates, the great physician of
antiquity and the father of modern medicine. Opportunity to see Asklipion,
Castle or the Museum (all open until 14:30), then lunch on board. Option of
swimming in the warm waters of Empros thermal baths on the south coast.
